
Connor Loftus
Policy Advisor , Michigan Senate Majority Policy Office
Connor Loftus serves as a policy advisor for the Michigan Senate Majority Policy Office. He advises on issues related to health policy and economic and community development, and budgets for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and the Michigan State Police.
Prior to joining the Senate in 2024, Loftus was in charge of constituent services for Michigan State Representative Sara Cambensy. He then served as a legislative director for Michigan State Representative Christine Morse who chaired the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services.
Prior to working in the legislature, Loftus served in the U.S. Navy for four years. After his service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife management from Northern Michigan University.
