Lynda McMillan is a senior project manager, leading complex, cross-sector initiatives that advance patient-centered care through strategic transformation. With over 20 years of experience spanning payer and provider environments, she has acquired deep expertise in interoperability, provider data strategy, and regulatory alignment—-consistently focusing on aligning people, process, and technology to drive meaningful outcomes.

While at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, McMillan led the statewide ePrescribing initiative, supporting thousands of providers in transitioning to electronic workflows to enhance medication safety and reduce prescribing errors. She also spearheaded a medication reconciliation pilot in partnership with the Michigan Health Information Network (MiHIN), leveraging CCDA data to support post-discharge medication reviews and improve care transitions across the state.

McMillan led the implementation of DirectAssure in collaboration with CAQH and provider organizations, improving provider data accuracy and integrity. More recently, at Blue Cross NC, she oversaw the enterprise-wide Provider 360 initiative, which integrated credentialing, enrollment, and onboarding systems to enhance operational efficiency and data quality across the provider lifecycle.

Her work is driven by a commitment to building collaborative, scalable solutions that reduce administrative burden and improve outcomes for both healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.
