Jennifer Day is an international board certified lactation consultant, birth doula, and childbirth educator.
Day is the founder and owner of Feed the Babes, LLC, a business that supports women during birth and beyond. Day also serves as manager of community building for the Michigan Breastfeeding Network, founding member of Southeast Michigan International Board Certified Lactation Consultants of Color, board director of the Detroit Midwifery School, member of the Motivating Interdisciplinary Lactation Knowledge (MILK) Research Lab, and past board director for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
Day is grateful to be called to the work of birth and breastfeeding justice, while centering the needs of marginalized communities and the injustices faced due to systemic racism and oppression.
