Megan Murphy

Chief Executive Officer , Superior Health Foundation

Megan Murphy is the chief executive officer of the Superior Health Foundation, where she leads the organization’s efforts to strengthen health outcomes across the Upper Peninsula through strategic grantmaking, partnerships, and innovative community-driven solutions. She brings nearly two decades of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, with a focus on health, program development, community engagement, and organizational capacity building.

Prior to joining the Superior Health Foundation, Murphy served as director of community health and capacity building at the Michigan Health Endowment Fund. In that role, she supported community-led initiatives and strengthened nonprofit and collaborative capacity throughout the state. Earlier in her career, she worked as a sponsored program administrator at Spectrum Health (Corewell Health) and as a project manager at the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University.

Raised in Ironwood, Michigan, Murphy is a strong advocate for rural health and for ensuring that nonprofit organizations have the tools, resources, and partnerships necessary to advance their missions and create lasting community impact.
