Nadia Syed

Community Benefit Collaborative Program Manager , Michigan Health and Hospital Association

Nadia Syed serves as the Community Benefit Collaborative Program Manager at The Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA), where she leads statewide initiatives supporting nonprofit hospitals in implementing programs in maternal health, behavioral health, and chronic disease.

Prior to joining The MHA, Nadia worked at ACCESS, a community-based organization, as a Program and Research Coordinator implementing culturally tailored chronic disease programming and co-designing research initiatives with faculty from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. Additionally, Nadia worked as a Public Health Consultant at JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) contributing to research and evaluation projects across the country focused on chronic disease, behavioral health, and substance use.

Nadia holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Michigan and is currently a part-time PhD student at Wayne State University’s School of Social Work.
