Stephen Jackson

Stephen Jackson is a policy advisor with the Senate Majority Policy Office. His focus areas include civil rights, criminal justice, health policy, and human services. Prior to serving in his current role, Jackson was a senior legislative analyst with the Senate Fiscal Agency, a nonpartisan agency within the Michigan Senate.
Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in criminal justice from Ferris State University and a juris doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law. During his education, Jackson completed internships with the Michigan House of Representatives, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Third Circuit Court in Wayne County.
