Adam Hagedorn

Legislative Director , Michigan State Representative Cam Cavitt

Adam Hagedorn is legislative director for Michigan State Representative Cam Cavitt. In this role, he has played a key role in shaping healthcare policy, securing funding for critical health initiatives, and addressing the unique challenges facing Michigan’s rural communities.

Hagedorn’s efforts were instrumental in the passage of Public Act 79 of 2022, which helped alleviate Michigan’s healthcare workforce shortage. With previous experience working for Appropriations Chair Ann Bollin and State Representative John Roth, Hagedorn has developed a deep understanding of the legislative process and budget negotiations. His ability to craft effective policy solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders makes him a strong advocate for expanding healthcare access and improving health outcomes.

Hagedorn holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University with minors in history and human behavior and social services.
