Beverly Ryskamp

Chief Operating Officer , Network180

Beverly Ryskamp serves as chief operating officer at Network180, the Kent County Community Mental Health Authority. Ryskamp joined Network180 in 2011 as the systems development supervisor, becoming director of innovation and development in 2016, and chief operating officer in 2019. At Network180, Ryskamp has led numerous clinical and operational initiatives including the development of a Network180 Crisis Services Continuum and Kent County’s Behavioral Health Home pilot and system-wide roll out. 

Ryskamp has directed the administration of multiple state, federal, and private grants and led a statewide effort to enact legislation enabling the creation of behavioral health crisis stabilization units in Michigan, which was signed into law in January 2021. Prior to joining Network180, Ryskamp supervised a home-based crisis intervention program for families involved with child protective services and practiced law at Warner, Norcross and Judd. 

Ryskamp is a licensed clinical social worker, an attorney, and a graduate of Calvin College, the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and the University of Michigan Law School. She is a leadership council member of the Grand Rapids Justice Governance Partnership, a collaboration between the Aspen Institute and the Grand Rapids community to understand and reduce crisis and law enforcement responses while investing in less intensive and more supportive options for community members. Ryskamp is also a board member of the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan and served for many years on the Grand Rapids Area Coalition to End Homelessness Steering Committee.
