About CHRT

Dana Elobaid is a senior at the University of Michigan, studying philosophy, politics, and economics, with a minor in quantitative methods. She is a communications intern at CHRT, working with the rest of the communications team to assist CHRT’s public sector clients with a wide range of projects. She is interested in healthcare policy, expansion of accessible mental health services, and prevention-based approaches in schools, as well as housing policy and urban planning.

Outside of CHRT, Dana is the co-editor in chief of The Michigan Daily, as well as an American politics editor for the Michigan Journal of Political Science. In the summer of 2024, Elobaid interned with CNN in the polling division. Upon graduation, she hopes to work in housing and education policy, focused on improving educational outcomes for historically marginalized groups.
