Jen Villavicencio, MD, is Cuban American who grew up in Miami, Florida. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan and went on to receive her medical degree as a member of the charter class at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University/Women and Infant’s Hospital where she developed a passion for family planning. She graduated from her Fellowship in Family Planning at the University of Michigan in June of 2019 and will complete a Master’s in Public Policy at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy in May 2020. Her interests include bridging the gaps between public and health policy making and the clinical world, reproductive justice advocacy, and effective messaging for social change in abortion.
