Madeline Watts
Legislative and Policy Advisor , Michigan House of Representatives
Madeline Watts is a legislative and policy advisor. She started her legislative career in 2016 as a constituent relations aide for the majority floor leader in the Michigan House of Representatives. During her time in the House she worked as both a legislative aide and legislative director before coming to the Senate Majority Policy Office as a policy advisor in 2019. Watts has advised members and staff on issues such as insurance, banking, veterans affairs, finance, health, and related portions of the state budget.
Watts holds dual degrees from Michigan State University in international relations and economics. She is also currently working toward her master of science in applied economics at Johns Hopkins University.
