About CHRT

Mary Herran is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, health, and society with a minor in Asian studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  She hopes to continue her education and pursue a master’s degree in public health in the future.

Some of Mary’s passions include mental health advocacy and the empowerment of Filipinx American & Asian American youth. She hopes to combine these two passions and work toward initiatives that provide more easily accessible mental health services for students and that eliminate the stigma of mental health in the greater Asian American community.
