Nancy D. Dolin

Nancy D. Dolin is an epidemiologist at the Detroit Health Department (DHD), where she conducts research and analyzes data relating to women in the perinatal period. She writes reports for the DHD website that illustrate data associated with infant and maternal morbidity and mortality in Detroit.
As part of the DHD’s epidemiology team, Dolin responds to data requests, works on team projects, and participates in several forums and task forces related to women and infant health and well-being. She also co-leads the first imperative of the Hope Starts Here initiative’s policy, research, and evaluation work group, a campaign to combat health inequities for Detroit women and infants.
Previously, Dolin worked as a compliance officer and research coordinator for an ophthalmology practice in Grand Blanc, Michigan. She holds a bachelor’s in health education, a master’s in public health, and a doctorate in public health.
