Marina Sterngold
Student Intern
As the intern for the Washtenaw Health Initiative (WHI), Marina provides project management support in developing and evaluating projects, drafting reports, communications and promoting WHI events.
Prior to joining WHI, Marina worked on global health projects in Washington D.C. and in West Africa. These included development programs providing continuing education for health care workers in resource-scarce countries, communications support for a research project on malaria treatment, and overseeing a community education program in Ghana combating the spread of HIV infection. Marina has a B.A. in Psychology from Goucher College, and is currently pursuing her MSW from the University of Michigan, focusing on social policy and evaluation and health.
