Megan Foster Friedman

Senior Healthcare Analyst

Megan Foster Friedman is a senior healthcare analyst at CHRT. She provides analysis of health care policy and trends in Michigan and nationally, with a focus on health insurance coverage and Affordable Care Act implementation. She also coordinates local Medicaid and Marketplace outreach and enrollment efforts through the Washtenaw Health Initiative.

Prior to joining CHRT, Megan was a legislative aide for U.S. Senator Patty Murray, where she contributed to health care and public health legislation and appropriations. She also served as a David Bohnett Public Service and Leadership Fellow in the office of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. Megan holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Michigan, Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, and a B.S.F.S. in International Politics from Georgetown University.
